Free Health Services Provided for Tangki Fire Survivors

Tamansari District's Community Health Center, West Jakarta provides health services for fire survivors in Tangki Urban Village.

We collaborate with PK3D and West Jakarta PMI

Person in Charge of Field Health Support for Tamansari District's Community Health Center, Malik said this health service is provided from the time the fire occurs until the emergency response period ends.

"The health services are provided by mobile and on the post. We collaborate with PK3D and West Jakarta PMI," he said, Tuesday (9/30).

Malik explained that the services provided include blood pressure checks, direct treatment for wounds or illnesses according to complaints, and health consultations.

"We will refer them to the nearest healthcare facility if they have an emergency and need further treatment," he added.

As many as 140 residents have used the health service post. Services are expected to continue as the post-fire response process is still ongoing.

Meanwhile, one of the fire survivors, Neneng, admitted the free health service helps her much.

"It's very convenient, especially for people like us who've been exhausted since yesterday," she admitted.
